www.floridainshorefishingcharters.com Set out today in search for some nice Mosquito Lagoon bull redfish. We found them. Had the chance to fish today myself and it turned out to be a great day. We got into several large schools of giant bull reds. Landed the fish using a few different lures from the DOA BFL 5.5 to the DOA Shallow Runner Bait Buster. All of the red drum were released unharmed. Here is some video I put together. Hope you enjoy it. The older BFL’s had an issue with cutting through the leader. You should not have? this problem with new models. If you have an old one, use a split ring or swivel.
does that metal piece on the BFL tear threw your leader after a while, because it does that to me
?
It was close to George’s Bar. These fish roam, so one day they can be there and he next down by the Tale. The? river side in Mims and Scottsmoor has schools as well.
Where at is this in Mosquito Lagoon? I haven’t had very good luck there in the past two months. is this near George’s Bar??
