For more video, please visit: www.fishingwithrod.com It has been an unproductive start for 2011. The weather has not been great and no fish were caught despite of numerous attempt. This week, we took advantage of the dry, mild weather in the Pacific Northwest by hunting for some winter bull trout in a stream. The result was very rewarding! Subscribe to go Fishing with Rod! what type of reel is? that?
I? wasn’t fly fishing. It was just a piece of chartreuse wool on the hook.
what kind of flies do? you use ?
Don’t bite the hands that feed? you.
duh? line test
I use 12lb test Maxima Ultragreen, which is what I use for my main line on a baitcasting reel as well.? Some people prefer to run 15 or 20lb test if they choose to fish for larger specimen like chinook salmon, which I don’t go for very often. Make sure you put quite a bit of backing underneath the main just so you can spool the reel to the top (less work when retrieving).
Line, I just got a center pin? reel last week so trying to get the hang of things… casting etc.
For what?? Rod? Line?
