A Simple Crease Fly By Brad Buzzi. Crease Flies are a very simple fly to tie once you know some basic techniques to make them. They are a very effective fly and can be fished throughout the entire water-column. Don’t be afraid to fish them on the bottom or better yet stick a rattle in them or plug the body. The Tail on the fly can be anything you want it to be from Bucktail to Big Body Fiber/Kinky Fiber to SF Blend.

Nice instructional video. I find that sharpies will bleed when I put epoxy on them.? Have you ever had a problem with that? Might be a good way to stipple two colors together, though. Haven’t tried that.
Yes. Floating works great, but don’t be afraid to use sinking or a 400 grain line. Fishing? them deep works great.
