Gary LaFontaine studied caddis extensivly. His creation of the Deep and Emergent Pupa is a standard in my fly box and represents a substantial amount of my fishing time. My largest Landlocked Salmon was taken on the tan with green as in this video. This should be one of your top ten flies.
