@thetweedtweeker they are rainbows, goldens have a gold belly and olive/reddish ovals on the backs, real colorful, more colorful than a brook, and are much smaller. To get to goldens, you have to backpack in. Take HWY 395 from LA towards Carson, NV, hang a left at Lone Pine, drive until the road ends, start walking, straight up … when you get to cottonwood pass there are many lakes and streams to fish

i only keep fish i catch on the first day. the rest of the year im strictly catch and release. ive caught the same fish multiple times in the same year before and watching them grow is awesome.

@DukeLacroix I keep every trout I catch, over 9 inches, they are stocked for a reason, aint no fucking sense in releasing them, they are good eatin.
