Wow, beautiful trout. I would love to try some small stream fishing like that, what stream is that and where is it?
@BuddyWackIt369 By early June there are a range of hatches in full swing. Mayflies in your arsenal should include sulphurs, hendricksons, gray & brown drakes. Also the stone-flies begin to hatch now = little yellows and big browns. Caddis should include the american grannom and the little green caddis, and small sedges. Keep a range of elk hair caddis hand. I like the rhycophilla and hydropsyche larva as well. You can see some of these on my blog at wifly.wordpress
what are some good early june flys?
@MichiganTroutMan There are plenty of brooks to go around down here, you just got to find em. I know of several streams with class brooks in em. You just got to be ambitious.
I am a Yooper and i live in trolls land right now and i sure miss them brookies
i just started fly fishing this summer, and we went to branson for rainbow trout, and the water was to hige to fly fish, so we are going to michign to are summer house to fly fish on the kanatoga river
